Coming into its 8th year in the region, Whisky Live Singapore will bring whiskies and spirits from all over the world to the city-state of Singapore at the end of November. Held at Theatreworks and Singapore Tyler Print Institute both overlooking the Singapore River, within a pre-war historic building that was a trading and warehouse hub back in the day, the show promises an even more immersive experience than ever.
With this year’s theme revolving around the appreciation of the art of whiskey, patrons will get to walk through a gallery showcasing what goes behind the scenes of whiskey and spirit manufacturing by leading industry creatives, from label design to bottle craft of various indigenous brands.
Masterclasses by industry names such as Taiwan’s Kavalan and Scotland’s Glenviet are in the schedule, and guests will be able to dive-in further into the art of whiskey and spirit tasting. There will also be cocktail and food trails along Robertson Quay for the first time ever, from 2.30pm to 9.30pm across both days. This year’s event will also bring the unveiling of Japan’s Nikka Coffey Gin and Nikka Coffey Vodka on top of an Old Pulteney 25 year old and a vintage 1983 Old Pulteney, for the first time in South East Asia.
Alongside various big names from around the world, Boilermaker House (Melb) and Baxter Inn (Syd) will be representing Australia, doing guest shifts at the host’s bar, La Maison du Whisky, situated right next to the event venue from 9pm until late on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Whether you’re a whiskey connoisseur or an absolute beginner, this is an experience for you in the Lion City. Tickets to the event start from SG$99 (AU$95) and can be bought via their website below.
