Wailoaloa Beach’s Crowne Plaza set to be the largest hotel resort in Fiji

InterContinental Hotels Group have signed a management agreement with Quantum Hi-Tech Group Limited to develop the largest hotel resort in Fiji. Set to open in 2020, Crowne Plaza Fiji Wailoaloa Beach will be positioned just a 10 minute drive from the island’s primary Nadi International Airport, boasting a beachfront location and five restaurant and bar offerings including a pool bar and a beach club.

Plans also extend to comprehensive business amenities such as one of Fiji’s largest conference centres, as well as consumer essentials like a fully-equipped 24-hour fitness centre, two swimming pools, a Kid’s Club and more resort facilities. The 453-room property will make full use of the location’s impeccable ocean views.

“As the first resort in Fiji for the brand, Crowne Plaza Fiji Wailoaloa Beach complements IHG’s existing portfolio of brands in the South Pacific, allowing us to better meet the different needs of travellers visiting Fiji”, said Rajit Sukumaran, Chief Development Officer for Asia, Middle East and Africa. “Guests can look forward to a truly immersive travel experience with the [resort], with such vast, pristine natural beauty that Wailoaloa offers.

The resort will join other popular IHG brands already located in the South Pacific, including the highly awarded InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, Holiday Inn Suva Resort, and Holiday Inn Vanuatu.
