Three new events line up for the Food and Drink festival Feast Portland in Oregon

Now in its fifth year, Feast Portland has set itself up as one of the most anticipated food and drink festivals on the American calendar. Though they don’t describe themselves as “just” a festival. They class it as “a movement that showcases the energy, creativity and enthusiasm that’s driving America’s food revolution while celebrating the culinary world’s most inspiring places: Portland, Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.”

The event brings together “trendsetting” chefs from around the USA, while it hosts large events, intimate hands-on classes, panels, collaborative dinners and more. And this week they’ve added three more events in collaboration with Bon Appétit to the already bursting calendar.

First up, there’s Cocktail Crawl: Drink like A Pro, where you’ll join Bon Appétit’s editors for a cocktail tour of Portland, learn plenty of bartender secrets along the way to end the event as a drinking pro. The crawl will take you to Shift Drinks, Pepe Le Moko, Teardrop and the Green Room. Tickets are $75 and can be found HERE.

Next, Inside the Bon Appétit Test Kitchen offers a glimpse into the recipe process for the Bon Appétit magazine, as you explore dishes that have been developed for the October 2016 issue. Carla Lalli Music, Claire Saffitz and Julia Kramer will be the event’s featured “tastemakers”. And finally, Wine vs. Beer: This Time It’s Personal – round three of Feast Portland’s epic Drink Tank panel. Bon Appétit’s Marissa Ross will be representing for the wine fans in this panel, while founder of the brand new Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery, Christian DeBenedetti, will be doing so for the beers. They’ll be pairing beer and wines with cheese, and the audience will get to taste and vote for their favourites.

In addition to these events, tickets remain available to the Sandwich Invitational Presented by Portland Monthly Magazine on Thursday night at the RoseQuarter Commons, Friday Grand Tasting at Pioneer Courthouse Square, and Friday Drink Tank events Meet the Press, Washington Wines on the Rise and Aperitifs Ascendant: Understanding Vermouth, Quinquinas and Aperitif Wines.

Tickets are now available for all these events. To get your hands on them and learn more about the festival, head to their official website. The event is held from September 15th to 18th in Portland, Oregon.
