The William Inglis Hotel is South West Sydney’s first five-star luxury boutique hotel

Next month South West Sydney will be getting it’s very first boutique five-star luxury property with The William Inglis Hotel, part of the high-end MGallery by Sofitel collection which also includes The Como Melbourne and Harbour Rocks Hotel Sydney. The eight-level, 144-room hotel will form part of the new $140 million precinct near Warwick Farm, dubbed the Riverside Stables and developed by William Inglis & Son Ltd.

The 5th generation family owned business partnered by AccorHotels on this ambitious new property, which will sit adjacent to the Warwick Farm racecourse with a guest room theme reflecting the many champion racehorses sold by the company throughout the years. Each guest room will be personalised to the champion racehorse it is named after, featuring an artistic painting of the winning jockey silks and an image or original artwork of the horse. The level 8 Presidential Suite, for example, is named for the famous Black Caviar.

Newmarket Room, the hotel’s on-site “paddock-to-plate” restaurant will be headed up by chef Samuel Bull with a strong focus on rural inspired food. In addition to a leafy al fresco area, an entire wall of the restaurant will be lined with the original Group 1-winner plaques that were featured on barn doors throughout the former Newmarket complex, which was one of the more memorable elements of the Iglis’ historic Randwick home.

Overlooking 300 acres of greenery with prime view of the racetrack will be The Chiltren Pool Deck & Bar, a sprawling rooftop destination that will feature a list of cocktails and snacks to enjoy by the pool. A dedicated whisky lounge will also take good care of the hotel’s food and beverage offering, located on the mezzanine level with a high-end selection of whiskies as well as wine (focus being on Champagne) and bespoke cocktails. An all-day cafe dubbed Heroic Cafe will be located on the ground floor by the lobby, providing high quality coffee and an all-day menu focusing on fast, fresh and wholesome dining.

In addition to a fully-equipped 24 hour gym and luxe day spa, it’s looking like the The William Inglis Hotel is going to be an enormous win for locals and guests when it opens on Governor Macquarie Drive, which is around 25 minutes from Sydney International Airport and 30km from Sydney CBD.

The hotel is currently running an opening offer with a nightly rate of $199 for a Superior King Room, including breakfast for 2 in Newmarket Room. Booking details below. The William Inglis Hotel will open in January 2018.
