The Ord Valley Muster returns to Kununurra in Western Australia this May

For all those wanting to tick a trip to the Western Australian Kimberley region off their bucket list, the Ord Valley Muster returns to Kununurra from 13 to 22 May.

The ten-day festival includes 30 exciting events set amongst the magnificent Ord Valley, Lake Kununurra, spectacular fresh water gorges, national parks and stunning reserves. The Muster is expected to bring thousands of visitors to Kununurra to celebrate the region’s diverse culture, produce and arts.

Good value travel packages are available for the region’s hallmark event, including flights, accommodation and tickets to this year’s Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster, starting from $1040 flying from Perth.

There are three, five and seven night packages that include a number of iconic experiences such as cruising down the Ord River, a two-hour flight over the Bungle Bungles, a scenic helicopter flight and a guided tour of Kununurra Town. Value package prices are available until 24 March; from then on travellers must pay higher prices for their Kimberley region trip.

All packages include tickets to the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster Kimberley Moon Experience concert which will this year be headlined by former Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning, Fremantle band San Cisco and country music singer-songwriter Troy Cassar-Daley. Tickets to the degustation dinner by Fervor, delicious by Fervor at the Kimberley Kitchen are also included, with breakfast as an optional add-on. Accommodation options include the Hotel Kununurra standard room, Kununurra Lakeside Resort King Premier Room, Freshwater Apartments One Bedroom Apartment, Kununurra Country Club Resort King Room.
