Revamped Ovolo Inchcolm brings 1930s charm to Brisbane

Ovolo Hotels have transformed Brisbane’s Incholm hotel into a unique 1930’s inspired design, after the international hotel group acquired the property last year. The rich architectural heritage of the hotel will transform guests back to the 1920’s and 30’s, with uniquely themed interiors and an oddball mix of books, objects and artefacts.

The new Ovolo Inchcolm, that launched on Wednesday 4 April, will feature a signature restaurant and bar, Salon de Co, decked out in Georgian-Art Deco style décor, and a menu designed by renowned chef Anthony Hales.

Medium rooms start from $269 and large rooms from $314, while the medium suites start from AUD$414 and large suites from $539.

The two level iLoft lounge suite located on the top floor of the Inchcolm, is fitted with fine furnishings, is spacious and has ceiling to floor windows boasting sweeping views over Brisbane city. The iLoft suites start from AUD$629 per night.

“After months of design curation, careful planning and preparation, we are excited to finally share Ovolo Inchcolm with Australian and international guests,” CEO the Ovolo Group, Girish Jhunjhnuwala said.

“As with all of our design-led hotels, we have gone above and beyond to ensure every last detail of Ovolo Inchcolm has the guests’ experience at its heart, and speaks to our commitment to effortless living – it’s brilliant to see how the concept has come to life.”
