New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on the Upper East side has recently opened
Renowned structures such as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum have been reiterating the Upper East Side as one of the most famous cultural neighbourhoods in the world for years now, and surely The Met Breuer will prove to be a necessary addition to that legacy.
The largest shopping district in North America and some of the city’s greatest international cuisines also dot the Upper East Side, them too constantly going through evolution to ensure this slice of New York will always be balancing continuity and change to keep things fresh for locals and visitors. Restaurants in the area include Daniel, famed namesake of Chef Daniel Boulud, Parisian eatery Orsay, and legendary brunch hotspot Sarabeth’s.
