Indonesia’s Komodo Island is scoring its first five-star Hotel

AYANA Resort is opening up the first and only Luxury five-Star Hotel on Komodo Island along the beautiful Waecicu Beach in Labuan bajo. The AYANA Komodo Resort, anticipated to open Summer 2018, will feature 12 suites and 1289 guest rooms.

Inspired by light, comfort and open living, Ayana Komodo Resort’s contemporary rooms feature ocean views with large windows, perfect for ‘gramming that tropical sunset and private beaches to make the folks back home jealous.

Alongside the private beach will be two huge swimming pools and one children’s pool to cool off in, as well as a luxe spa, gym and a kids’ club.

The resorts’ restaurants will feature venues offering relaxed Asian cuisine, seafood barbecue and Japanese, while drinks will be served up on the Rooftop bar, Pier bar and lobby bar.

And, if you’re planning your destination wedding, the resort features a rooftop function suite, accommodating for up to 200 guests, and boasts a terrace with uninterrupted ocean views.

Komodo island is a one-hour flight from Aussie’s longstanding favourite, Bali, in the West Flores. The resort will overlook Komodo national park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where, you may have already guessed it, the Komodo Dragon lives.

Guests will also score complete access to nature’s playground that awaits around the surrounding islands, with the resort expected to launch a 54 metre long, 9 bedroom phinisi ship.

Launching from the private pier, the ultra-luxe ship will take guests, either by full charter or bookable by bedroom, around the island for short explorations of approximately 2 to 3 overnight trips.

While the projects are still under development, the team are preparing for the new member of the AYANA Family, launching summer 2018. Head HERE for more details.
