From Barcelona to Florida, L.E Hotels add historic new properties to Luxe Collection

2017 was a big year for global hospitality brand L.E Hotels and their popular “Luxe Collection” of boutique hotels. The group are heading into the new year with a trio of brand new properties plus one completed refurbishment, bumping the collection of independently owned and operated luxury hotels up significantly. The newest Luxe Collection additions include properties in Barcelona, Boston and South Beach, while the completed renovation is for Granada’s spectacular Hotel Alhambra Palace, one of the oldest luxury hotels in Spain.

True to the collection’s aesthetic, each property features a unique style and individual character with a distinct sense of place, no doubt adding significantly to the already impressed portfolio credited to L.E Hotels. Each of these new properties now receive the extra benefits of the group’s extensive communication channels, a global distribution system and regional sales office all aimed at increasing the property’s visibility on a global scale.

Firstly, Spain’s lush 98-room OD Barcelona joins the group, ideally located merely steps from the city’s most famous landmarks including La Sagrada Familia and La Rambla. The modern hotel is said to have a contemporary aesthetic and design throughout its common spaces, which extends to the rooftop sky bar. OD Barcelona’s Grand Suite features a private swimming pool and terrace, for those with money to burn.

Boston’s The Lennox Hotel is next up, located in the city’s Back Bay neighbourhood with a distinctly “urban-chic” design. The 214 guest rooms and apartment-style suites featured include modern amenities which blend well with the hotel’s wood-burning fireplaces, crystal chandeliers and large workspaces.

Last but not least is the Washington Park Hotel in South Beach, Florida, encompassing four landmarked art deco buildings which have been unified as a 181 room boutique hotel concept, paying homage to South Beach throughout the grounds and guest rooms. Guests can use hotel bicycles to explore the surrounding area before having a nightcap at the property’s own speakeasy, Employee’s Only.

Then you’ve got the new lease on life for Granada’s historic Hotel Alhambra Place, which has been standing proudly since 1910 and, with its new renovation, has received 5-star certification. The 108 rooms and suites featured throughout the hotel each take advantage of the sweeping views spanning Granada and Sierra Nevada’s impressive peaks. Dining is also said to play a bit part in the hotel’s guest experience offering, with high-end gastronomy available in their on-site restaurant.
