Darling Harbour’s newest luxury hotel has opened with an unforgettable infinity pool

Sydney’s latest five-star hotel has officially opened in the heart of Darling Harbour. Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, the first newly built international luxury hotel since the Olympics, features 590 stylish guest rooms boasting some of the best views across Darling Harbour and the city, a swanky rooftop bar and infinity pool, three sophisticated bars and a signature French restaurant.

Designed by renowned multi award-winning Sydney architect Richard Francis-Jones, the opening of the hotel heralds an ongoing revitalisation of the Darling Harbour precinct, while following a wave of new hotel development in Sydney, with over 40 hotels expected to open up in the next five years.

One of the hotel’s most notable feature is the luxe Le Rivage Pool Bar, that combines the relaxed sophistication of a Mediterranean beach with the urban buzz of Sydney. Hotel guests can sip cocktails and swim the summer arvos away in the 20 metre infinity pool, while soaking up the idyllic surrounds of a magnificent city skyline.
