Brand new business class cabin climbs aboard Emirates’ Boeing 777-200LR

Travelling business class is the luxury way of flying around the world, and Emirates have upped the game on cabin style and configuration. The Boeing 777-200LR aircraft has been fitted out with new wider seats and set in a 2-2-2- configuration, with the two class layout providing 38 business class seats and 264 economy class seats. Business class seats remain the same shape as Emirates’ latest lie-flat seats, but now you get an extra two inches on your chair width, meaning a little more of a comfy ride.

The Business Class seats are decked out in  champagne coloured finish and diamond stitch pattern on the full leather cover, and the ergonomically designed headrest. The sets have a pitch of 72 inches and moves into a fully flat sleeping position. It also has touchscreen controls for the seat and inflight entertainment system, several personal lighting options, privacy panels between seats, a shoe stowage area, footrest,  personal mini-bar.23 inches wide personal in-flight entertainment (IFE) screens.

There will also be a social area with lounges, food and bevages, in addition to regionally inspired cuisine prepared by gourmet chefs, and accompanied by some of the most exclusive wines, champagnes and spirits in the world. Emirates’ newly refurbished 777-200LR aircraft will debut on March 6 for service to Fort Lauderdale, with the rest of the 10 aircrafts refitted with new configuration over the year ahead.
