Aussies Abroad: Gang of Youths reveal European and American tour details

Sydney’s Gang of Youths have announced the dates for their May/June tour of Europe and America, which will see them playing a string of headline shows, alongside festival appearances at the iconic Great Escape in Brighton and Primavera Sound in Barcelona, alongside the likes of LCD Soundsystem and Radiohead.

Their debut album The Positions received five ARIA nominations in 2015, and won Live Act of the Year and Best Domestic Tour at the AU Live Music Awards last year. Along with all the praise and accolades, the boys have released details of their upcoming EP, Let Me Be Clear. Due out mid-year, Let Me Be Clear is closely linked to the material featured on The Positions.

It’s a collection of songs tied closely to the themes and narrative of The Positions, serving as a bookend of sorts to my early 20’s, and the final chapter of the part of my life I spent in love with someone fighting cancer.” – David Le’aupepe
