Aussie bands will hit the stage at Canada’s BreakOut West for the first time

In its 15th year, BreakOut West is returning this year to celebrate music in Western Canada, with an stellar international line-up. Kicking off in Alberta from September 13 to 17, there will be a range of panels, networking and live music, as well as the event hosting the 2017 Western Canadian Music Awards.

For the first time, the program will feature international artists, including two indie rock bands from Australia, Sydney’s Letters to Lions and Central Coast duo Winterbourne. 

Letter to Lions most notable singles include Come Around and I’m Still Young which you can check out here.

This year, BreakOut West has announced its Australian contingent as part of its fourth guest speaker announcement, including our own Founder in Chief, Larry Heath. Larry joins Sean SimmonsFrancesca RivaKylie Cobb and Geoff Trio on the line up, all coming to BreakOut West with a diverse range of backgrounds and wealth of experience.
