Hotel Review: Club Croc Hotel – Airlie Beach (QLD)

Located just a short five minute (or less) drive away from the bustling main street of Airlie Beach, the Club Croc Hotel offers guests a relaxed and enjoyable stay, with exceptionally attentive and friendly service. With a large pool that includes a waterfall and heated spa, barbecue facilities, a games room, a spacious bar and even a babysitting service – it is easy to see how this hotel can appeal to vacationers of all types.

In addition to the perk of the hotel being peacefully removed from the main street, Club Croc is just a short walk across the road to the beautiful Cannonvale Beach, Fat Frog Beach Café (for the best Campos coffee in the area and delicious brunch options) and the local shopping centre is just down the road. A taxi into the main strip will cost just $10, and the staff at reception will happily order transport for you.

The rooms are spacious, clean and light – exactly what you want on a beach holiday. With balconies looking out onto the popular pool, Club Croc constantly has a sociable, activity based feel, yet the rooms also serve as a wonderful break from the rather extreme heat with both a fan and air conditioning. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms clean and reasonably sized, and should you need anything at all the staff at reception will be more than happy to assist or to suggest the many incredible outdoor activities on offer in the Whitsundays.
